Some time ago I decided not to write more news about Ryanair. Several reasons moved me to such a decision. I do not like his sensational and provocative style - whether real or fictional news - so that other media talk about the company for free and thus save a few euros on advertising. Nor do I like their aggressive style based on charging governments to install new destinations in their airports and thus reduce prices for the gallery - after all, we pay them more than we think from taxes.
However, on that occasion I make an exception and it is that the new destination that we propose from Girona airport is not wasted. From next week we can go to the Swedish Lapland on a direct flight and low cost.
As of Monday, March 28, the Girona connection with Skelleftea North of Sweden The flight will operate on Mondays and Fridays from both destinations throughout the year and I note that the cheapest price that can leave us is about 90 euros.
I suppose that in this case we will have to check luggage because of the cold that we will find in Lapland. However, the white landscape, the northern lights, dog sled excursions or icebreakers deserve those extra euros.
