Censorship at the Beijing Olympic Games

The Beijing Olympics are a shame, and I won't get tired of repeating it. The way in which the International Olympic Committee is lowering its pants before the Chinese communist government is reaching insulting levels. If you travel to China or are already there, connect to the internet and try to collect information about International Amnesty, Tibet or the massacre of Tiananmen; Outcome? There is no access. And the IOC without saying or mu, to silence and, yes, to fill the pockets with the rain of millions that generates an event of this type.

Not long ago a very good friend of mine made me see that it is positive that the Olympics take place in China because it is the only way for its population to know the reality that exists outside its borders. Maybe he is right; hopefully. Perhaps the IOC seeks the same and accepts all the Chinese conditions to achieve the ultimate goal, which would be to enter the most populous country on the planet at any cost and once there give the Chinese the vision of another world; hopefully. I do not think so, but I will give you my benefit of the doubt.

Anyway, that Shame Olympics they are about to begin, and perhaps the IOC would do well to modify its Olympic motto by a "Citius, Altius, Fortius, Fortunatius ..." (Faster, Higher, Stronger, More rich… )

P.D: Yesterday I followed closely an interview with Barack Obama that the CNN did live to him and I have to admit that this guy transmits optimism to me. We'll be alert…
