Today I'm going to dust some photographs that take us to Jodphur. One of the most peculiar, beautiful and human cities of Rajasthan. Without those romantic exaggerations that Udaipur has and much hotter than Jaisalmer or Bikaner. It is called the blue city for obvious reasons. Apparently the color of the city was dyed blue because it scares away mosquitoes. Hmmm, we'll try it at home next summer ...

In Jodphur there is a spectacular fortress that one sees on almost any street presiding over the city from the top of a rock. Here the Maharajas lived and controlled the wide Rajasthan from their phenomenal rooms and outbuildings. The visit is one of the most professional you will find in India, seriously.

Then it is time to walk around the city and it is really quiet, they are not heavy at all -according to the Hindu barometer- and one can spend hours and hours in the market, the little shops, taking teas at each corner and living that are two days.
