The capital of Turia tastes like sea, orchard and history. Valencia It is a city that does not require the gastronomic addition so that you want to visit it, but nevertheless, in a boast of generosity, it gives it to you for your enjoyment.

Living in Alicante, they have been many times that I have wandered through the historical streets of Valencia.

Contemplate the views from the Torres de Serranos and those of Quart; the gothic beauty of the Cathedral and the Lonja; the Oceanographic and the Science Museum in the City of Arts and Sciences; the living nature of the Albufera; take, as in the magnificent novel by Manuel Vicent, the tram to the Hollyhock and walk along the Mediterranean Sea; and enjoy the colorful fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, all fresh and top quality in the Valencia Central Market.

And it is precisely these products of the earth that you will be able to taste in the magnificent Valencian restaurants that support this initiative of Valencia Tourism (counting on him Cruzcampo Gran Reserva sponsorshipso that Valencian cuisine can be available to everyone.

What is the Valencia Cuina Oberta - Restaurant Week

The thirteenth edition of Valencia Cuina Oberta-Restaurant Week will take place between November 19 and 29 and they have attached over 60 of the best restaurants of the city, including all those who have the distinguished cosmic decoration decided by the famous Michelin Guide.

For ten days - and their ten nights - these temples of gastronomy will offer their guests the opportunity to taste great tasting menus, prepared with great imagination and unbeatable raw material, at very affordable prices: 20 euros for lunch and 30 for dinner, drinks separately.

All Michelin star restaurants in Valencia participate in the initiative and they propose special menus for 35 euros at noon and 45 at night, also not including drinks.

I personally know the RiFF restaurant, where the great chef - but better person - Bernd H. Knöller surprised me with a tasty and varied menu that made him leave there wanting to grant him all the stars of the Milky Way, whether Michelin or not.
