As you will have seen in the news the horn of Africa is suffering a terrible drought It affects eleven million people. According to UN estimates, it is the toughest drought in the last 50 years. This has caused an alarming famine state in two regions of Somalia: Bakool and Lower Shabelle.
The data is chilling: 30% of children suffer from malnutrition and six people out of 10,000 die every day from hunger, data that did not occur for about 20 years.
